Clos Fourtet :Premier grand cru classé B, Clos Fourtet belongs to Philippe Cuvelier. The 18 hectares are located at the entrance of Saint-Emilion. Indeed, the borders of the Clos Fourtet, were once walls to protect the city of Saint-Emilion. The quality of this wine has improved significantly since the early 1990’s. The castle is also known for its beautiful caves. The area also produces a second wine, the Closerie de Fourtet.
